Descriptions of several types of the available customization:
- An existing text can be abridged by removing unneeded material and rebound as a special version for your school. Chapters can be reorganized in a new order if wished and the book can be repaginated and given a new index.
- Two or more existing texts can be combined to produce a new text. Usually this means that parts of these texts have been selected rather than putting two entire texts into one binding. Chapters can be re-combined in a new order if wished, the book can be repaginated and given a new index.
- An existing text(s) can be reduced and/or combined and then have locally-authored material added to it.
- Locally-authored material, such as workbooks, class notes, study guides, lab manuals, or even texts, can be published as a custom book just for your school. In this case, we offer the optional services of gaining and paying any needed permissions fees for copyrighted material and/or professional page design should you not want to provide the manuscript as camera-ready copy.
